Terms of service

Terms that apply to your account and to every notification you send with Notificado.

  1. Purpose

    Notificado provides lawyers and firms with electronic notification with proof of delivery: sending data messages, recording delivery events and keeping the evidence, following the published evidence method. The service is operated by VENOMTECH S.A.S., NIT 901.991.367-7, registered at Carrera 43 A # 32-39, Apto 2432, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia.

  2. Who may use the service

    Lawyers with a current tarjeta profesional and the firms or offices they work for. We may verify the tarjeta profesional and suspend accounts whose information is not truthful.

  3. Your responsibilities

    • The accuracy of the recipient's electronic address and of the statement about where it came from (art. 8, par. 2, Ley 2213 de 2022).
    • The content of the messages and documents you send.
    • Using the service only for lawful purposes and for notifications within your professional practice.
    • Keeping your access credentials safe.

  4. What we do and what we do not

    We send the message, record the delivery events and keep the evidence according to the current evidence method. We do not guarantee the recipient reads the message: an open is only an indicio. Notificado is not an accredited digital certification authority and does not give legal advice. The validity of each notification is for the judge to decide.

  5. Credits and payment

    The service is paid with prepaid credits. One credit is used per recipient. Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Prices are published on the pricing page, before VAT. [Pending: refund policy and right of withdrawal.]

  6. Keeping the evidence

    The evidence of each notification is kept for 10 years in storage that does not allow deleting or modifying it, including after you close your account. This is a condition of the service: without it the constancia would lose its value.

  7. Availability and liability

    We aim to keep the service continuously available, but we are not liable for failures of the recipient's mail servers or for causes beyond our control. [Pending: limitation of liability.]

  8. Changes to these terms

    Each version of these terms has a version number. We record the version you accepted when you created your account, and we will ask you to accept again when material terms change.
