From lawsuit to proof of delivery
Personal notification by data message (Ley 2213 de 2022, art. 8), in one place: you take six steps and Notificado records ten verifiable events.
What you do
Six steps, in the order of the case file
Register the case
Enter the 23-digit radicado, the juzgado and its email, the city, the court specialty and the parties. The radicado is validated as you type.
Upload the documents
The auto admisorio, the demanda and its annexes, as PDF. Each file gets its SHA-256 fingerprint on upload, and you see it before sending.
Declare where the address came from
Art. 8, par. 2 requires stating under oath that the address is the one used by the person being notified, explaining how it was obtained and providing the evidence. Notificado records that statement, its version and its supporting files with the send.
Review and send
See the message exactly as the recipient will, confirm the credits (one per recipient) and send. Before it leaves, the exact message is frozen, fingerprinted and timestamped.
Follow each recipient
Acceptance by the recipient's mail server (with its response and IP address), bounces, document downloads and acknowledgement of receipt, each in Colombian legal time and UTC. An open of the message is shown as an indicio, never as proof of reading.
Download the constancia and the memorial
The digitally signed PDF proof of delivery with a verification QR code, the full evidence package, and the memorial to inform the juzgado, tied to the radicado.
What Notificado records
Ten stations, from the send queue to the daily anchor
Each station adds an event to the chain, timed in UTC and in Colombian legal time.
The notification is queued
You attach the documents, choose the recipients and send. Each recipient uses one credit.
The message is frozen before it leaves
We build the exact email the recipient will get (.eml) and take its SHA-256 fingerprint. From here on, a single changed bit shows.
Two timestamp authorities date it
Two independent TSAs sign the message's fingerprint (RFC 3161). They prove it existed, unchanged, at that instant.
It leaves signed from our domain
The send is recorded with its message ID and the time in UTC. Every event is chained to the one before it by its hash.
The recipient's server accepts it
The destination server's "250 OK" reply is stored exactly as it arrived, never rewritten.
If they open it, it is recorded as an indication
A detected open is an indication, not proof: some mail clients block images. It is recorded and labelled as such.
They download the documents
Every download from the recipient's link is recorded with its time and the fingerprint of the file served.
They confirm receipt
If the recipient confirms receipt, that acknowledgement joins the chain as one more event.
The constancia de entrega (delivery record) is issued
A signed PDF lists every event with its Bogotá time and hash, plus a QR code to verify it online.
The day closes into a single root
Every night the day's events fold into a Merkle tree and its root is timestamped. Changing any past event would change that root.
When is the notification complete?
Under art. 8 of Ley 2213 de 2022, personal notification is deemed made two business days after the message is sent, and deadlines start running the following day. The Constitutional Court (ruling C-420 of 2020) conditioned that count on the sender receiving acknowledgement of receipt or otherwise being able to establish the recipient's access to the message. That is why we record server delivery, downloads and acknowledgement of receipt.
What the recipient gets
An email signed (DKIM) from our domain, with the documents attached plus a personal link to download them and acknowledge receipt. The attachment proves which content arrived; the link proves access.
