Getting started with Notificado

From a new account to your first electronic notification with a constancia de entrega, step by step.

Updated:

Notificado sends electronic notifications with a constancia de entrega (proof of delivery) for lawyers in Colombia: the message is frozen and timestamped before it leaves, every delivery event is recorded in a chain nobody can rewrite, and you end up with a signed constancia and an evidence package a perito (expert witness) verifies without relying on us.

1. Create your account

Sign up at /registro with your email and a password of at least 12 characters. The account also creates your firm (organization): your cases, notifications and credits live there. Invite other members from Account → Members.

2. Verify your identity as a lawyer

Before you can send, the Notificado team reviews your tarjeta profesional (bar card). Upload it under Account → Verification (/cuenta/verificacion). Until it is approved you cannot send notifications.

3. Register the case

Under Cases → New (/casos/nuevo) enter the 23-digit radicado (Código Único de Radicación), the juzgado (court) and its email, the city, the specialty, the type of proceeding and your client. The radicado identifies the case; dashes and spaces are fine.

4. Prepare and send the notification

From the case, choose Notify. The wizard asks for the providencia (usually the auto admisorio), the documents (PDF, PNG or JPEG, 20 MB in total at most) and the recipients, with your sworn statement on how you obtained each address. The guide Send an art. 8 notification walks through every field.

5. Follow delivery and download the evidence

Under Notifications you see, per recipient, when the mail server accepted the message, the openings (always as an indicio), the downloads and the acknowledgement of receipt. Once delivery events arrive the constancia is issued; read States and evidence to learn what each one proves.
